Apunipima Cape York Health Council, Cairns

Helping local Aboriginal communities to develop their own strategies for health. The organisation has grown rapidly to support the delivery of their charter.  This project has been shelved for the time being with a change in direction from the Department for the emphasis of the organisation’s resources.  The project was to entail the retrofitting of an existing warehouse with a first floor, doubling the useable floor space. Efficient planning and modular workstation systems enabled flexibility for the organisation to continually adapt to the future challenges of their program delivery.  The branding was adapted to become a key decorative design element reinforcing the ethos.  These new premises provide a professional workspace enabling the organization to raise the bar of the demanding service delivery they provide to the wider community.
